Sigourney Weaver has been granted an honor that most can only dream of: spending valuable time with Baby Yoda.

The Oscar-nominated actress has confirmed that she will accompany Mando and his little green buddy on a journey across the galaxy in the upcoming film. star Wars Film, The Mandolorian and Grogu.

“I play a role in The Mandalorian and Grogu”, Weaver told Deadline in an interview on August 27, adding: “I met Grogu for the first time the other day. I’m filming that before I go to London to The storm at the end of the year.”

Weaver was tight-lipped about the specifics of her role, but admitted that she plays a “very” fun role in the film. “I’m excited about it,” she said. “I can’t say much about it right now, but it’s fun jumping between all these different universes.”

Outside of her upcoming trip to a galaxy far, far away, Weaver confirmed that she will play a role in the future of James Cameron’s Avatar franchise. When asked if she would appear in films four and five, she said: “Yes, I think I can say that.”

In the meantime, Weaver’s journey between the stars will involve fewer Xenomorphs and more Mandalorians.
