Several people were found murdered in a home in a quiet neighborhood in Washington state.

Police said they made the gruesome discovery Monday morning in Fall City, about 30 miles east of Seattle.

“I can say it will truly be a tragic event for the community, for anyone who has any connection out here,” King County Deputy Mike Mellis said, according to King5.

Mellis added that the murders may be related to domestic violence.

Fall City ranks 29th out of 273 cities in the U.S. in cost of living, which is 120 percent of the national average – with an average home price of $1.5 million.

Police have not yet confirmed the number of people found in the home.

Some people were also injured in the incident, which police described as a “family tragedy,” but officials did not provide any details.

Investigators arrived at the “tragic crime scene” around 5 a.m. after receiving multiple 911 calls about a shooting in the Lake Alice neighborhood.

“The investigation is at a very early stage, but it will affect many people,” Mellis added.

“I can say it will truly be a tragic event for the community, for anyone who has any connection out here.”
