Service dog asks his owner for help with a very important problem

We’re used to seeing service dogs taking care of their owners, but who do they turn to when they need help? A very good boy named Tobias discovered that he can rely on his owner in times of need! A social media user shared the cutest video of his dog asking for help at work. He was so polite, it literally brings tears to our eyes!

This conscientious service dog remained perfectly calm and quiet until his master noticed him. When his owner finally asked him to “show me something,” Tobias scurried off to do just that. The dog owner followed the pooch until he stopped at a particular shelf. There, the animal pointed out the problem. His ball was stuck!

It took a little maneuvering, but the service dog’s owner was eventually able to free the toy. They then threw it back to the very excited dog, who scurried away with the important object. Tobias’ owner was very impressed that the animal had asked for help!

“He is such a smart dog, he has taught himself to get help when he can’t do something himself,” they wrote in the caption of their video.

Social media users liked the funny clip, which was viewed over seven million times.

“You are such a good service person,” someone joked.

“You know, he tried so hard to get it himself before he asked for help,” said another.

There’s a reason this service dog is allowed to have toys on the job.

Some commenters didn’t believe Tobias was truly a service dog, claiming that if he was, he wouldn’t be allowed to play with toys while on the job. However, in another video, the pooch’s owner showed that this good boy knows the difference between work and play!

In the clip, the pet owner threw a ball at his workplace. Tobias happily ran after him and caught it in his mouth. But as soon as his owner said “ready,” the service dog immediately dropped the ball. Then he came running as soon as he was called. It looks like this dog can be trusted with toys at work after all.

Keep it up, Tobias!
