The kids haven’t even put on their costumes for a night of trick-or-treating yet, and Spirit Halloween is already gearing up for the holidays.

The temporary retail chain reliably pops up in hundreds of vacant storefronts across the country every year to sell spooky home decor, costumes, and massive animatronic outdoor decorations. But this year, the Spencer Gifts chain, which opened its first pop-up store in the Bay Area in 1983, is sticking around a little longer.

The company has announced plans to soon open ten Spirit Christmas stores in the North East.

“Discover thousands of Christmas gifts, Christmas clothing, fun gifts, unique decor and all the special accessories to create an unforgettable Christmas,” Spirit Christmas advertises on its official website.

Where will the Spirit Christmas stores be located?

Spirit Christmas will soon take over strip centers and malls in New Jersey, Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania – some of which are already Spirit Halloween locations.

What you should know about the Spirit Christmas shops

In addition to the abundance of holiday items, the Spirit Christmas website is also promoting free family photos with Santa himself. The photo sessions are already available to book.

The website does not list any location hours. USA TODAY reached out to Spirit Halloween for more information about the holiday shopping season.

The company confirmed to People magazine that the Mays Landing, New Jersey store is scheduled to open on October 18, while the other nine locations are scheduled to open in early November.
