Roadside Attractions has an award-winning release planned for The Last Showgirl with an acclaimed performance by Pamela Anderson set for December 13th.

Gia Coppola’s film, which won the Special Jury Prize in San Sebastian after garnering instant acclaim for its star following its world premiere in Toronto, will be released in cinemas nationwide in January.

Anderson plays glamorous showgirl Shelly, who must plan her future after she hears that the Las Vegas revue she has headlined for decades is closing.

The cast includes Jamie Lee Curtis, Dave Bautista, Brenda Song, Kiernan Shipka and Billie Lourd.

Kate Gersten wrote the screenplay and Utopia Media co-founder Robert Schwartzman produced. Utopia packages and produces The Last Showgirl through her company Originals in collaboration with Pinky Promise, High Frequency Holdings and Digital Ignition Entertainment.
