Richard E. Grant shared an insight into his buddy Sting’s 32nd wedding anniversary celebrations after traveling to his stunning vineyard in Tuscany.

The 67-year-old actor shared an Instagram post with snaps and videos from the party, which saw the 72-year-old hitmaker dance the night away to celebrate his 32nd wedding anniversary with wife Trudiem, 70.

Richard shared clips of the stunning scenery surrounding the property, and as the sun went down, he and Sting’s loved ones made the most of the anniversary celebrations.

The group was joined by Sting’s daughter Mickey and son Giacomo, as well as their child Eliot Sumner, who identifies as non-binary, and their partner Mollie Davis.

After a night of dancing, the party was rewarded with a stunning fireworks display and Richard captured the sweet moment when Sting hugged Trudie as they enjoyed the stunning view.

Richard, whose wife Joan died in 2021, shared a series of selfies from the anniversary, including a snap with Trudie, who impressed in a sparkling, nude dress

He captioned his post: “I met @theofficialsting and @trudiestyler 40 years ago when we both played at the Lyric Hammersmith.”

“Tonight we celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary @ilpalagiointuscany with @sumnermickey @eliotsumner Mollie, Giacomo and all their friends. Loyalty, generosity and love.”

Sting and Trudie ferment and bottle their own wines in Il Palagio’s vineyards using organic farming methods.

Since 2000, they have replanted 11 hectares of vineyards, resulting in four red wines.

The wines they produce have the beautiful names “Message in a Bottle”, “Casino delle Vie”, “Sister Moon” and “When We Dance”.

There is also a shop on site selling products such as olive oil and honey.

The picturesque grounds are open for weddings and private parties and feature six cottages that can accommodate 50 guests.

Up to 200 party guests can enjoy the attractions of the 900-hectare Italian estate, which include a large swimming pool, a giant chessboard in the garden, beehives, as well as its own forest, lake and vegetable garden.

Guests can dine in the wine cellar, which is equipped with huge old barrels.

Last month, Richard shared the sweet moment his daughter Olivia married her partner and financier Florian Herbst, three years after losing his own wife Joan following a battle with lung cancer.

Grant, 67, star of ‘Withnail & I’, confirmed the news on X (formerly Twitter), revealing that they celebrated their wedding with a seafood dinner at Mayfair restaurant Scott’s and then spent the night at the Ritz.

The celebration comes three years after the death of Grant’s wife and Olivia’s mother, Joan Washington, who battled terminal lung cancer for 35 years.

Dialect teacher Joan died tragically at the age of 75, eight months after being diagnosed with the disease.

Grant confirmed his daughter’s engagement in October, with the actor sharing four photos of Olivia, Autumn and her huge diamond ring.

He wrote: “Our beloved daughter @oliviagranted got engaged to Florian Herbst this weekend. Bags full of happiness!!”

Cambridge-educated Austrian financier Herbst currently works as Head of Corporate Finance at Village Hotels.

In 2014, he graduated from Cambridge with a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics, combining “law and economics with environment, economics, finance and resource management”.

Before moving to England, Herbst completed a three-year Bachelor of Science in International Business at the WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business).

Grant previously revealed the “amazing mantra” he has lived by since the death of his late wife.

The actor said that in the days before her death, his wife gave him words that have since helped him cope with the “abyss of grief.”

Speaking on the Zoe Ball Breakfast Show with Helena Bonham Carter, he said: “Four days before she died, she said to me, to my daughter and to me, ‘I know you’re going to be sad, but try to find a little happiness in every day.'”

“It has been a wonderful mantra to navigate the abyss of grief over the past 15 months, and I am grateful for that.”

Grant also said that he misses Joan more during the winter time, at Christmas and on their wedding anniversary in November.

In 2023, he told Radio Times: “Our wedding anniversary is November 1st, Joan’s birthday is December 21st, then there’s Christmas and Olly’s (his nickname for his daughter Olivia) birthday is January 4th.”
