Report: Man killed in semi-trailer crash at Tampa strip club identified

TAMPA, FL — The driver accused of driving a semi-trailer into a gentlemen’s club this week, killing one man and injuring two others, has been arrested, according to a media report.

Tampa police charged 25-year-old Dylan Fogle of Thomasville, North Carolina, with the fatal crash, WFLA reported.

Officers arrived at the scene of the East Adamo Drive club around 4:15 a.m. Police said a driver who had been kicked out of the club returned to the club’s parking lot and drove the truck into a group of people who were at the club’s entrance.

Police identified the man who died in the accident as Giovanni Soto, WFLA reported, citing police. The injured have since been released from the hospital, the news agency reported.

Fogle was charged with having a blood alcohol content above the legal limit, WFLA reported.

Hillsborough County Jail records show Fogle was arrested Tuesday and charged with suspicion of first-degree premeditated murder, two counts of attempted first-degree murder, driving under the influence causing serious bodily harm, two counts of vehicular manslaughter and involuntary manslaughter.

According to jail records, Fogle is being held at the Falkenburg Road Jail.
