    Hajime Isayama’s global phenomenon “Attack on Titan” returns to the big screen.

    The wait is over for fans as the release date of the movie “Attack on Titan” has been confirmed.

    The epic conclusion of the series, titled “Attack on Titan The Last Attack,” will soon be released in Japanese theaters.

    The film was announced at Attack Fes, the series’ 10th anniversary celebration, and recounts the finale. The production is being managed by the MAPPA studio.

    Attack on Titan is a dark fantasy series set in a world where humanity lives within three giant walls to protect themselves from giant, man-eating humanoids called Titans.

    The story follows Eren Yeager, a young boy who vows to destroy the Titans after they destroy his hometown and kill his mother.

    The series explores themes of survival, loss and the complexity of human nature as characters fight for their existence against a seemingly insurmountable threat.

    What is Attack on Titan: The Last Attack?

    The film Attack on Titan is a compilation of the final episodes of the fourth season of the anime. In it, the Survey Corps fights against time to stop Eren Jaeger, who triggered the Rumbling.

    This catastrophic event threatens to destroy the entire world except for the island of Paradis. The film will be 145 minutes long and will feature enhanced visual effects.

    At the Attack Fes, Attack on Titan director Yuichiro Hayashi said that he had originally planned the final episodes of the series as a feature-length film, so that “The Last Attack” would experience the series finale as he had envisioned it.

    The film is expected to be released in Japanese cinemas on 8 November 2024.
