Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is in federal custody on multiple racketeering and sex trafficking charges, has now been accused of raping a woman as “revenge” after she suggested his involvement in the murder of rapper Tupac Shakur. The woman claimed in her lawsuit filed Tuesday in California that Combs even threatened to slash her face with a knife because of the comments, the BBC reported.

In her lawsuit, the woman claimed she came onto Combs’ radar after meeting one of his friends at a bar in 2018. At the venue, the person was “trying to impress people” by allegedly making video calls to Combs. But the woman declined to attend because she believed Combs had “something to do with” Shakur’s murder.

She claimed he overheard her comment at the bar and said she had to “pay for it.” Nearly a month later, Combs’ boyfriend asked her for help with his cancer medications and she later visited him at his apartment. But the music mogul unexpectedly appeared there and then approached her with a knife. He held it to the right side of her face and threatened to give her a “Glasgow smile” in retaliation for her earlier statements.

He tore her clothes and “forcibly” raped her using a TV remote control, court documents show. Furthermore, she stated that Combs told her that her life was in his hands and that if he wished, she would never be seen again.

That wasn’t all. The woman claimed she was raped by multiple people until she “no longer had control of her body and could no longer move her body.”

When she finally tried to escape, the woman was confronted by Combs, who allegedly offered her money in exchange for mentioning that everything that happened was consensual and that she had not been raped. As he ran to neighbors’ houses to get help, shots were fired at them, the lawsuit says.

Because neighbors had already called police after hearing the disturbance next door, the woman said she notified the Contra Costa Sheriff’s Department about how she was raped by Combs and others. However, she claimed that no further action was taken on the matter.

Three weeks after the incident, she went to the hospital, where staff called police officers. The victim said none of her reports led to an investigation.

In addition to Combs, she sued six other people for sexual assault, kidnapping and false imprisonment and is demanding a trial in the case.

Combs has denied all allegations made against him. He previously claimed he was not involved in the shooting that killed Shakur in Las Vegas in 1996. The case remains a mystery to this day. However, a person named Duane “Keffe D” Davis – a former gang member – was charged with murder in 2023. Davis previously claimed that he was offered $1 million by Combs for a hit against the late rapper.
