Each week we rank the five best individual performances and team wins in the Nashville area based on statistics, the quality of opponents and the impact of the wins on the Tennessee High School Football Playoff picture.

Ranking the Nashville area’s best individual performances in Week 9 of TSSAA football

1. Cam Blivens, Lipscomb Academy: In the Mustangs’ 47-23 win over Knoxville Catholic, Blivens caught nine passes for 223 yards and four touchdowns.

2. Hudson Holman, JPII: Holman was 13 of 22 passing for 325 yards and five touchdowns with no interceptions in a 49-28 win over Rockvale. Each of Holman’s touchdowns were over 30 yards, including scores of 63 and 75 yards.

3. Jared Curtis, Nashville Christian: The No. 1 QB in the country in 2026 was 11 of 16 passes for 233 yards and four touchdowns as the Eagles defeated Fayetteville 46-0.

4. Keilan Harris, Stewarts Creek: Harris totaled 10 tackles, six TFLs, four sacks and a fumble recovery as Stewarts Creek defeated Smyrna 21-0 for the first time in school history. He also rushed for a 15-yard touchdown.

5. Jaylan Morgan, Rockvale: The Georgia team had 15 carries for 163 yards and three touchdowns against JPII. He also completed a 46-yard pass with two interceptions.

1.Hendersonville: Caleb Sams hit Riley Jordan for an 89-yard touchdown with 42.6 seconds left, capping a wild 31-28 win over Portland that gave the Commandos (6-2, 3-1 Region 7-5A) a playoff berth. secured place.

2. Stewart’s Creek: The Red Hawks are closing in on the Region 5-6A title after Friday’s 21-0 shutout against Smyrna. It was Stewarts Creek’s first win in the series. Jeremy Smith had 17 carries for a team-high 85 yards.

3. Riverdale: The Warriors kept their Region 3-6A hopes alive with a 24-7 victory over Blackman in the Backyard Brawl. DJ Taylor had 17 carries for 91 yards and a touchdown and added a six-yard TD reception. Riverdale (7-1, 3-0) is guaranteed to finish no worse than second in the region and will play Oakland for the title on Oct. 31.

4. Ravenwood: The Raptors were able to prevail against Franklin with a 28-7 win. Ravenwood (8-0, 4-0 Region 6-6A) scored 14 unanswered points in the second half and prevented Franklin from scoring twice while driving inside the 10-yard line. Quarterback Maverick Chance’s 1-yard rushing TD with 11:39 left in the fourth quarter gave the Raptors a 21-7 lead. Guaranteed to be no worse than second place in the region, Ravenwood (8-0, 4-0) will face Brentwood for the title on Oct. 31.

5. Webb School – Bell Buckle: With a 54-35 victory over Goodpasture, the Feet secured a spot in the TSSAA football playoffs for the second time in school history. Webb (5-3, 2-3 Division II-AA Middle Region) is averaging 60.5 points over the last two games.
