Rain returns to Middle Tennessee

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A few showers are expected Saturday.

THIS WEEKEND:

Expect it to be mostly cloudy on Saturday, although some sunny spots will develop throughout the afternoon. Temperatures start at around 60°.

A few light showers will move in from the northwest and move southeast in the morning hours. The highest chance of a few passing showers will occur in Nashville mid to late morning.

Late Saturday afternoon there will be showers towards the southeast. Saturday will be significantly cooler with highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s.

Saturday night looks partly cloudy and pleasant.

Sunday will be very nice for doing things outdoors. Low: 48. High: 73. Expect lots of sunshine and a few clouds.

NEXT WEEK:

Warmer weather returns starting Monday and will last through Halloween.

Monday will be partly cloudy with a high near 70 degrees.

A gusty southerly breeze will blow Tuesday and Wednesday as temperatures rise back to near 80 degrees.

Clouds will increase on Thursday/Halloween. There’s a good chance of a few passing showers late Thursday afternoon, Thursday evening (for trick-or-treaters), and Thursday evening. Temperatures for trick-or-treaters will be in the 60s and low 70s.

A few showers will continue into early Friday. Friday will be more seasonal, with a low in the mid-50s and a high in the lower 70s.
