When a player isn’t on the field, it’s sometimes easy to forget how talented they are. That may have been somewhat the case for Puka Nacua, who missed the last five games with a knee injury but made a somewhat unexpected return Thursday night against the Vikings.

And he was quick to remind everyone how good he is as he dominated from the start in his first game. Well, maybe not Right from the start as he dropped his first goal of the evening, but he quickly got going.

In the first quarter alone, Nacua caught three passes for 50 yards and helped the Rams make a statement with a touchdown on the opening drive. His throws went for 13 yards, 21 yards and 16 yards, breaking off big yard blocks from the start.

And then he added another 14-yard reception and a 7-yard rush on the Rams’ second drive, giving him 71 yards from scrimmage on the first two possessions of the game.

He and Cooper Kupp even received praise from LeBron James, who is happy to see the two Rams receivers back on the field.
