The Portland Trail Blazers traveled straight from the Moda Center to the airport on Sunday night after earning their first win of the season, 125-103, against the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Blazers couldn’t leave Portland down 3-0 after an impressive win that they dominated from the second quarter onwards.

Now the Blazers face the 0-2 Sacramento Kings looking for their first win.

The Kings lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves (2-1) and the Los Angeles Lakers (3-0) by a total of six points.

The trio of centers Domantas Sabonis (26.5 ppg, 10.0 rpg), De’Aaron Fox (21.5 ppg, 10.5 rpg) and DeMar DeRozan (24.5 ppg) could cause problems for the Blazers, although they They played well defensively in their last two games (104 ppg).

The Pelicans lacked both an impact point guard and a dominant center.
