According to NBC News, rock guitarist Jake E. Lee was shot and injured multiple times in Las Vegas on Tuesday. The musician, who played with Ozzy Osbourne, is expected to make a full recovery, his rep noted in a statement.

“As management confirmed, legendary rock guitarist Jake E. Lee was shot multiple times in a shooting on a Las Vegas street this morning,” the statement said. “Lee is fully conscious and doing well in the intensive care unit at a hospital in Las Vegas.

Las Vegas authorities believe the shooting was “completely random” and occurred while Lee was walking his dog. Officers responded around 2:45 a.m. and found Lee suffering from gunshot wounds. There have been no arrests and the incident is currently under investigation. According to his management, Lee and his family have asked the public to respect their privacy at this time.

Lee, 67, joined Ozzy Osbourne’s band in 1982 and played on “Bark at the Moon” in 1983. He left the band in 1987 and played in bands such as Badlands and Red Dragon Cartel. Lee has also released two solo albums.
