Police: No arrests yet in shooting death of former OZZY OSBOURNE guitarist JAKE E. LEE

Police have released a statement on the shooting of the former man OZZY OSBOURNE guitarist Jake E Lee early Tuesday (October 15) while walking his dog in Las Vegas.

“Officers responded to a shooting incident in the 11000 block of Alora Street,” the said Las Vegas Police said in the statement. “Officers arrived and located a male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The man was transported to the hospital. No arrests have been made at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.”

According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, lee was in his driveway about 2:40 a.m. about to walk his dog when he was shot in the forearm; in the back, with the bullet breaking a rib; and in the foot. None of the shots hit a vital organ. A neighbor heard the shots, hid his children, grabbed a gun and called 911. leeThe dog remained uninjured.

leeManagement said in a statement that police believe the shooting was “completely accidental and occurred.” lee went for a walk with his dog in the early hours of the morning.

leeThe 67-year-old was “fully conscious and well in the intensive care unit of a hospital in Las Vegas,” his management said. “He is expected to make a full recovery.”

“No further comments will be made. lee and his family appreciate respecting their privacy during this time,” his management said.

leewhich was tapped Ozzy Osbourne to replace what is late Randy Rhoads in the singer’s solo band, played by two people Ozzy Records: 1983 “Bark At The Moon” and 1986s “The Ultimate Sin”.

After the performance with Ozzy, lee founded the hard rock band WASTELAND. He released the solo albums “Retraced” And “Guitar Warrior” 2005 and 2007 respectively. After a self-imposed exile from the music industry and the public, lee returned with a new band called RED DRAGON CARTELreleased a self-titled album in 2013, followed by “Patina” in 2018.
