Pinkard begins modernization of Banner Health facilities – BizWest

GREELEY – Pinkard Construction will begin tenant build-outs this month on two Banner Health campuses in northern Colorado.

Pinkard will begin modernization work at Mountain Vista Medical Center and Northern Colorado Family Medicine, both in Greeley, in the next few weeks through the end of November. Both projects will be commissioned and built simultaneously, with a total budget of $626,876, according to a news release.

Work on the Mountain Vista building includes the urology department, rehabilitation department, gastrointestinal department and orthopedic department. Reception areas will be remodeled and detailed, and cosmetic improvements will be made including painting, flooring and repairs to patient care. Work on the NCFM will include a new reception area, improvements to nurses’ station countertops and offices, and new paint throughout the building.

“At its core, it’s about modernizing the current workspaces to provide greater comfort for employees and customers,” says Krystyl Alexander, deputy project manager at Pinkard. “The changes may seem small, but they make a big difference to the people who work or receive treatment in the building.”

The work will be carried out while the facilities are open.

“We had to get really creative and create a detailed phasing plan to make sure we were only working in a certain area when the department allowed us to,” Krystyl Alexander, Pinkard’s assistant project manager, said in the press release. “It’s kind of a logistical maze where we go when there are no patients in those rooms and get them spruced up overnight before people come back. It was a fun challenge to get that right in terms of timing.”
