Pilot dies, passenger injured after plane crashes in Georgia

One person was killed in a small plane crash in a residential area of ​​Savannah, Georgia, on Sunday evening, according to local police.

The Savannah Fire Department union reported on Facebook that the accident occurred just before 10 p.m. Local firefighters and emergency services worked together to secure the area and ensure no further incidents could occur.

The Savannah Professional Firefighters Association released a photo of the destroyed plane lying in front of a home, highlighting the severity of the crash and the damage caused.
