The official Paul Di’Anno The documentary will be released in 2025. The film is directed by Wes OrshoskiCo-director and producer of the acclaimed 2010 film “Lemmy” about the MOTORHEAD Symbol and 2015 “The Damned: Don’t you wish we were dead?”about punk rock legends THE DAMNED.

This morning (Monday, October 21st)We s took to his Instagram to share more than a dozen photos of it Pauland he added the following message: “RIP Paul. Just learned this Paul Di’Anno has passed. I don’t have many details yet. Very sad day.

“As many people know, I’m working on a documentary about Paul For several years he has been struggling to get back on his feet – literally, emotionally and professionally. It’s obviously pretty sad that it ended like this.

“I am very grateful for the experiences and opportunities it gave me Pauland because of Paul. And I learned a lot from him.

“The film will be released in cinemas next year and details are still to be announced – we hope it will premiere at film festivals in early 2025. Last August Di’Anno discussed the status of the documentary in an interview with George Dionne from KNAC.COM. Paul said: “We s is a good friend of ours. He had done it MOTORHEAD Rockumentary. He had done it THE DAMNED (one) too. And he’s a great guy. We’ve had this in the pipeline for a few years now. The unfortunate thing is that we had to take our time in between when he could come over and do it. But the unfortunate thing is that I’m in a damn wheelchair, which is a pain in the ass, but what can you do?”

Asked by Dionne when the documentary focuses on a specific part Di’Anno‘s life or whether it will cover everything from start to finish, Paul said, “Everything. But you can sometimes see the determination and the desperation. And it goes through a whole lot of emotions and stuff. It’s a little strange.”

Di’Anno added: “I trust We s. He puts me in all sorts of strange situations. He even wanted to come in and film the operation. And they said, ‘No.'”

Di’Annowhose real name was Paul Andrewsdied at his home in Salisbury, aged 66.

Born on May 17, 1958 in Chingford, East London, Paul He first gained fame as the lead singer of an English heavy metal band Iron Maiden between 1978 and 1981. He sang on their groundbreaking debut album “Iron Maiden” and the influential follow-up publication, “Murderer”.

Since I left Iron Maiden, Paul Di’Anno had a long and eventful career as a musician BATTLE ZONE And MURDERER as well as numerous solo releases and guest appearances.

Although he has suffered from serious health problems in recent years that have prevented him from performing in a wheelchair, Paul continued to entertain fans around the world, logging well over 100 shows as of 2023.

His first career retrospective album, “The Book of the Beast”was released in September 2024 and contained highlights of his recordings since his departure Iron Maiden.

In December 2022, Di’Anno spent some time in Split, Croatia recording an album with his new project called WAR HORSE. The band was founded at the beginning of the year by Di’Anno and two guitarists/authors, Mr. Madiraca And Ante “Pupi” Pupačić. The resulting LP would be available in July 2024 at PAUL DI’ANNO’S WAR HORSE Banner.

WAR HORSE has previously recorded three songs, two of them – “Stop the war” And “The inner doubt” – were released in May 2022 as a special DVD single along with Paul‘s video message to all the fans who bought the single and helped raise funds for his knee surgery.

The WAR HORSE individually marked Di’Annois the first music release after a seven-year break due to serious health problems.

Di’Annowho finally had knee surgery in September 2022, played the first show since the surgery on October 1, 2022 at Keep It True Rising II Festival in Würzburg, Germany.

In May 2022, Di’Anno met face to face GIRL Bassist Steve Harris for the first time in three decades before the band’s concert in Croatia.

Also in May 2022, Paul played his first full solo concert in seven years at the Bikers Beer Factory in Zagreb. The show was filmed and parts of it will be included in the upcoming documentary.
