Ousmane Kromah has committed to UGA football for the 2025 class

Ousmane Kromah, a four-star running back from Lee County High School in Leesburg, Georgia, has committed to UGA football for the 2025 class.

Kromah announced his commitment to Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday morning.

Kromah (6-0, 205), previously committed to the Ohio State Buckeyes, chose the Bulldogs over Auburn, Florida State and Tennessee. He also had offers from most top schools including Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon, Texas A&M, USC.

Kromah commented on the UGA football program in February after the Bulldogs hired running backs coach Josh Crawford.

“(Crawford) made it very clear that I was the guy he really wanted,” Kromah told UGASports.com in March. “Basically it’s like he went to Kirby (Smart, head coach) and told him I was 100 percent the guy he wanted. I was the running back he wanted. I fit their style of play and I fit their game plan. It’s kind of an exciting atmosphere. They didn’t bother me much at the beginning. Now it’s like full speed ahead.”

The 247Sports Composite ranks Ousmane Kromah as a four-star recruit, the No. 5 running back and the No. 84 overall recruit in the country for 2025.

Rivals.com also rates Ousmane Kromah as a four-star recruit, the No. 5 running back and the No. 75 recruit in the country.

With the addition of Ousmane Kromah, Georgia now has 22 commitments to the Class of 2025. UGA’s class is currently ranked fifth in the 247Sports Team Rankings.
