Austria wins

Our Nations League Multi Match Bet Builder on Sunday evening begins with an interesting looking clash between Austria and Norway. The hosts were impressive at the European Championships and coach Ralf Rangnick was able to revive his reputation after a poor time at Manchester United.

They are currently in a bit of shaky form and have won one of their last four games, losing 4-0 to Kazakhstan in their last game. Norway beat them near the Arctic Circle just last month, winning 2-1.

However, I would like to see a reversal here. Norway have won their last two games, but before that there was a 0-0 draw against the Kazakhs and also a 1-3 defeat against Denmark. The Norwegians have some good players and we’ll talk about one of them next, but with Martin Odegaard out and Austria having home advantage, I’ll be siding with Rangnick’s side.

Erling Haaland scores

However, Norway is well positioned on offense and has scored in every step of the way in one of its last nine games. This is not least thanks to the giant goal robot Erling Haaland from Manchester City.

He has scored three of his last two goals for his country. Look, do we need to say more? Haaland is a brilliant goalscorer at all times in this game. Sometimes it’s just not rocket science!

7.45 p.m.: Faroe Islands – Latvia

The draw

Next we head to the Faroe Islands, where Latvia is a guest. These two met in the 2020 Nations League and drew two 1-1 draws. Since then, Latvia have prevailed in this titanic clash with consecutive 1-0 victories.

However, these have both taken place in Eastern Europe and the Faroe Islands have never lost to Latvia at home in the middle of the frozen ocean. These two are not particularly good and have combined for three wins in their last 22 games, one of which was Latvia’s victory over the hosts last month.

It could well be another draw as all three games on the islands have all ended in draws and there isn’t much indication that we won’t be playing for the fourth time in a row.

Under 2.5 goals

We’ve racked up quite a bit of value in this multi-match bet builder, so we’ll end up being a bit more frugal on pricing. Under 2.5 Goals is a bet that was made in all seven meetings between these two players over the entire season.
