PITTSBURGH, August 22, 2024–(BUSINESS WIRE)–United States Steel Corporation (NYSE: X) (“US Steel”) is featured in the episode “Forging New Careers in Steel” of “Military Makeover: Operation Career,” which tells stories of military veterans who have successfully transitioned to civilian life by finding meaningful and rewarding career opportunities.

This episode is for viewers interested in learning more about the steel industry and the veterans who are making a difference by highlighting the personal and professional journeys of four military veterans on the U.S. Steel team:

  • Jason Taliaferro, US Steel’s sales manager and president of SERVE Employee Resource Group (ERG), which supports the success of reservists and veterans, emphasizes the importance of culture and safety as he reflects on his 23 years of military service.
