After three rounds there is clearly a Premier League feeling in the Champions League table, but Inter and Atalanta have not yet conceded a goal.

This is the first season to use the tournament’s new format, where teams face six different opponents and all results are combined into a single table.

After three rounds, only two teams still have a 100% record in the competition, namely Aston Villa – who beat Bologna 2-0 last night – and Liverpool.

They are followed by Inter, Manchester City, AS Monaco, Brest, Bayer Leverkusen, Sporting CP and Arsenal with seven points each.

Taking goal difference into account, Inter are currently in seventh place, which would be enough to move straight into the next phase.
