Olivia Rodrigo Reunited with friend and former tour opener Chappell Roan Last night at the premiere of Olivia Rodrigo: Guts World Tourthe documentary about the World tour for their 2023 album.

As the duo hit the purple carpet, they each showcased their different takes on sheer dresses. For her part, Rodrigo chose a seductive black vintage dress from Dior’s Fall/Winter 1998 collection. Designed by John Galliano, the bodycon dress featured a plunging neckline and an intricate cross-stitch pattern with rose accents.

Rodrigo complemented her look with a natural glamor and wore her dark hair in flowing curls. She let her ensemble do the talking and went without accessories except for a pair of dangling diamond earrings.

Meanwhile, Roan turned up the heat in a sheer red dress with burgundy floral appliqués. Two thigh-high slits in the skirt took the daring dress to another level, revealing a pair of pointed black leather boots. Elsewhere, her dress’s botanical details extended to a pair of matching sheer opera gloves, which the singer accented with a few silver rings.

To complete the look, Roan let her orange locks fall over her shoulders. She also wore her signature colorful glam, pairing dusty blue eyeshadow with hot pink blush and burgundy lipstick. Further histrionics followed when the singer spotted a photographer on the carpet and demanded an apology from him for his earlier behavior.

She accused the photographer of “being disrespectful to me at the Grammys” and claimed they “yelled at her” during a Grammy party, according to a report video circulating on X (formerly Twitter). Eventually, Roan was pulled away by a carpet runner – but not without leaving an impression.
