Ohio State football’s top quarterback target is back on the market after decommitting: Buckeyes recruiting

COLUMBUS, Ohio – A key recruiting option has just returned for Ohio State as it continues its search for a 2026 quarterback.

The Buckeyes are slated to start quarterback Tavien St. Clair in 2025, whose decision has been in the works for over a year. There’s even an early candidate for the 2027 cycle, although nothing is official yet, with California five-star Brady Edmunds already trending toward Columbus. But the class of 2026 has become a big question mark as to what will become of them.

This is becoming more of a moot point every day. But Tennessee five-star Jared Curtis’ recent decision opens the door for at least one final, explosive answer.
