After a meteoric rise in his young career, Lamine Yamal, the Barcelona and Spanish prodigy, continues to make headlines.

The 17-year-old sensation has become the face of the team for both Barça and Spain and as such has seen his market value skyrocket to €150 million.

Now the teenage sensation has been rewarded again La Roja.

Spain’s new No. 10

Yamal has been named in the squad for Spain’s upcoming UEFA Nations League games against Denmark and Serbia next week.

And today the Spanish national team confirmed that the Barcelona prodigy will wear the number 10 shirt in the upcoming games.

Yamal was touted to take over the number 10 at Barcelona this season, but opted for the number 17 so that Ansu Fati could keep the iconic jersey.

But now, these La Masia gem was presented with the number 10 jersey by the Spanish national team.

An untouchable opponent for coach Luis de la Fuente La Roja Jamal has more than earned the right to wear the iconic number 10 jersey, even if only for the next two games.

Meanwhile, Pau Cubarsi, who is back in the Spain squad this month, was handed the number 15 shirt, while Pedri continues to wear the number 20 shirt.
