Nicholas Galitzine plays the lead role in the LGBTQ+ film “100 Nights Of Hero”

Nicholas Galitzine has added another role to his list of queer film appearances after being cast in an adaptation of the graphic novel The 100 Nights of Heroes.

After the success of Prime Video Red, white and royal blueGalitzine will star in an adaptation of Isabel Greenberg’s graphic novel about the classic folk tale. One Thousand and One Nights/One Thousand and One Nightsand focuses on the love story between two women.

According to Deadline, Galitzne was cast as the villain of the piece: Manfred

The official summary of the story reads: “The 100 Nights of the Hero revolves around Cherry and Hero, who are in love with each other. Cherry is married to a man named Jerome, who makes a bet with his friend, the lecherous villain Manfred, that Manfred can seduce Cherry within 100 nights.

“If Manfred succeeds, Jerome will give him Cherry.”

Cherry, however, is not interested and makes her own plan with Hero…

The adaptation will be directed by Bonus trackIt’s Julia Jackman, and although Galitzine’s role is not queer, playing gay characters is nothing new for him.

He appeared alongside Andrew Scott in a gay coming-of-age romance Handsome devil in 2016 and the portrayal of queer characters in The Craft: Legacy (2020) and Legends (2015).

He recently starred alongside Taylor Zakhar Perez in Red, white and royal blueand as George Villiers in Sky’s hot historical drama Mary and George.

A sequel to Red, white and royal blue (we want to be called Red, White & Royal Two) has been confirmed.
