Newlyweds are cheered for their antics at the wedding venue at 7 a.m. the next day

As the wedding party draws to a close, it’s good to take a moment to reflect on this life-changing night.

One couple did this to music, closing out their wedding reception dance floor at 7 a.m. with a solo dance together. The video, posted to TikTok by Sofia (@svilardebo.95), has gone viral for its heartwarming take on the dance. Since the clip was posted in late July, it has garnered over 1.1 million views and over 160,000 likes.

“I married my best friend so we closed the dance floor at 7am,” Sofia captioned the video. “Context: We listened to this song nonstop when we first started dating.”

The video shows the couple dancing to “Circles” by Post Malone for over a minute. In the comments, people praised the couple for taking a moment for themselves after the celebration – and for their song choice.

“This is also the best song to use,” wrote @jayrussell56. “The vibe is incredible.”

“Dancing with your husband on your wedding day is like no other! Congratulations,” posted @ac92x.

“May you both have moments like this in the kitchen until the end of your days,” added @victoriahazennn.

One person commented on the hem of Sofia’s dress, which appeared to be dragging on the floor in the video. “I know! Couldn’t help it,” Sofia replied. “Dancing nonstop.”

But there was one detail that several people in the comments overlooked: the fact that Sofia and her now-husband’s wedding celebration lasted all night.

“Is no one else commenting that this was the end of your night, at 7am?!” wrote @itsgraceyxo. “That’s impressive!”

A glamorous dance floor

Sofia’s wedding was unique not only because of its longevity. In another video, she talked about how she and her husband put their own stamp on the decorations. Unsurprisingly, the dance floor was a real eye-catcher.

“Details from our wedding that I’m still obsessed with,” Sofia captioned the video. “Disco balls, disco balls, disco balls.”

The couple’s dance floor was actually covered in over 10 disco balls. Sofia also showed viewers some of her decorations, including table decorations featuring seashells from the couple’s favorite beach and watercolor table markers.

In the comments on Sofia’s video, some expressed their own hopes for such enthusiastic love. For these people, the poster had some words of encouragement.

“It took us by surprise,” Sofia said of their relationship. “So I would say stay hopeful.”
