Project Trailgater was developed in collaboration with PowerNation TV’s Music City Trucks to bring the fun of tailgating to the great outdoors in a responsible way. It is based on a 2025 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X and was unveiled to media and content creators in October before making its public debut at SEMA. Look out for the three-part series about building the truck on the PowerNation channel.

The build begins with NISMO off-road accessories, including a lift kit and heavy-duty suspension, a bed rack, luggage cases, off-road lighting and 17-inch beadlock wheels. Additionally, Project Trailgater offers almost everything you need for camping and outdoor riding, including two weatherproof 43-inch TVs, electric coolers, a grid, and even the proverbial kitchen sink.

Frontier TARMAC concept2

The TARMAC concept embodies the spirit of sport and muscle trucks of the past and lives on in this one-of-a-kind street truck, a collaboration between Nissan Motorsports, Nissan Design America and Forsberg Racing.

The TARMAC concept immediately turns heads with its new-for-2025 Afterburn Orange paint, complemented by an abundance of carbon fiber accents throughout the aggressive widebody kit, vented hood, roof cap, spoiler, wheels, aerodynamics and much more.

Keeping that extra power in check is a high-performance brake kit with custom 15-inch two-piece floating rotors and brackets, utilizing Nissan Z NISMO’s high-performance calipers. Putting all this power to the asphalt are NISMO TARMAC 20-inch carbon wheels with Yokohama Advan tires and a prototype NISMO high-performance suspension with adjustable coilovers.
