ASUS has started working on a new flagship smartphone, the Zenfone 12 Ultra. Information about the device has appeared in the IMEI database, confirming its existence.

ASUS is actively strengthening its position in the market, despite the recent release of the Zenfone 11 Ultra. According to the available information, the Zenfone 12 Ultra will receive the model number ASUSAI2501H, while its counterpart ROG Phone 9 will be designated ASUSAI2501D.

Both smartphones will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor and will have at least 12GB of RAM. The ROG Phone 9 series will also have additional gaming features like backlighting and physical buttons for gaming.

The exact date of the presentation of these models is currently unknown, but based on the releases of previous versions, the new products are expected to hit the market in 2025.
