As Riggs stood on the roof of his vehicle near the start-finish line, clenching his right fist in celebration, he appeared to have injured himself. Riggs said he dislocated his shoulder. Riggs was helped off the truck, and then his team set his shoulder back in place.

“I dislocated my shoulder. I celebrated so hard. It hurts like hell, but hey, it was worth it,” he said after the race. “It’s not the first time this has happened to me, but it’s not going to slow me down.”
