I love playing long adventures, but not every game needs to be 40+ hours long. Maybe I’m just burned out on open world games, but ever since I first completed Elden Ring, I’ve been craving shorter single player experiences.

Ryan Reynolds has been in top form lately, especially since taking on Wade Wilson’s lead role in Dead Pool Franchise. I would say that the original Dead Pool is my favorite of his films, mainly because it was so refreshing in a fairly saturated superhero market. However, he has had a few underrated gems in the past. Who could put his younger self alongside Sandra Bullock in The suggestion? I enjoyed it very much The assassin’s bodyguard also with Samuel L. Jackson.

So many games over the last half decade have proven that single player games (or single player modes in games) should always be playable, even without an internet connection. I know most gamers are almost always online, but if the connection drops, single player games should still be accessible.

Pixar has been churning out one smash hit after another for what feels like an eternity, so it’s hard to pick the best. For me, it’s Toy Story. We had incredibly talented and iconic voices for these characters and the opportunity to mix toys from different walks of life was great fun. Not to mention, even as an adult, it still finds a way to bring out your inner child and remind you of the toys you grew up with.

I’ve been playing Arena Breakout Infinite a lot lately and aside from the monetization issues, I find it to be a pretty good implementation of Escape From Tarkov’s blueprint. The matches are faster, the maps smaller, the fights intense, and things that make the game even more convenient like an in-raid map and a dedicated heal button make the game addictive.
