A BEAUTY enthusiast has revealed how she managed to keep her makeup from sweating off at a steamy wedding abroad.

Instead of hiring a professional makeup artist, she used affordable products to transform her look.

The woman shared her complete beauty routine on Reddit’s Drugstore MUA forum in response to a post about long-lasting products.

FLAWLESS FACE

She said her makeup didn’t come off even though she applied several inexpensive products to her face.

“I was recently at a very hot wedding in Italy without air conditioning and I also tend to sweat,” she said under the name Blubasile.

“My skin is more normal/combination than very oily.”

She prepped her skin for makeup by using Elf Poreless Putty Primer on her face and Wet n Wild Photofocus Eyeshadow Primer on her eyes.

Imperfections were concealed with the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind concealer.

She then fixed her make-up with the loose banana powder Photofocus from Wet n Wild and then applied the setting spray L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Spray & Set Makeup Extender.

“I sprayed generously before leaving the house, partially dried with a fan, and then blended it in with my beauty blender,” she said.

“My face didn’t move an inch AND the makeup really melted into my skin, giving me a super natural look.”

According to the brand, the “lightweight” product eliminates the need for “midday makeup touch-ups” as it keeps everything in place without settling into fine lines.

FINISHING TOUCH

The Reddit user completed her look by applying Maybelline Tattoo Studio Waterproof Gel Line to her waterline.

She then applied Maybelline’s waterproof liquid liner “Mirror Easy” to her eyelids.

She used the Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara in both the regular and the waterproof version.

“I like to apply a waterproof layer over my regular mascara to protect my lashes,” she said.

“I tend to get either watery eyes or oily corners, so I always make sure to moisturize that area.”

Many people upvoted the post, with one top commenter saying her routine was “super helpful” before her visit to Italy.

The tips come after Katie Walker, deputy editor of Beauty Answers, explained how to prevent sweat stains over the summer.

She recommended replacing deodorants with antiperspirants to reduce sweating.

She said the best results are achieved by applying antiperspirants to “clean, dry skin.”

“Wear an undershirt made of moisture-wicking fabrics for added protection,” Walker added.
