Moment when a tree falls and furniture flies through the garden in strong winds

These video clips captured the moment Storm Lilian’s high winds caused a tree to fall and send furniture flying across a garden in Tameside.

The following footage was captured at a home in Hyde just before 6:30am this morning. A camera in the front garden of the home captured the moment a tree fell over a fence in the street as strong winds blew across the area.

A camera in the back garden then captured furniture flying through the garden as strong gusts began to blow at around 6.20am. The strong winds, gusting up to 60mph, are causing disruption to numerous roads and public transport in our area this morning. A Met Office wind warning is in place until 11am.
