    Michigan State football quarterback Aidan Chiles was forced to exit Saturday’s game against No. 13 Indiana with an apparent injury.

    The Spartans quarterback took a big hit from Hoosiers defensive lineman Mikail Kamara on a second-and-9 in the third quarter of Saturday’s game. The goal for Chiles came after an incomplete pass.

    Peacock’s stream showed Chiles walking back to the locker room with a towel over his head and a Michigan State coach by his side.

    Chiles is in his first season as the Spartans’ starting quarterback after transferring from Oregon State in the offseason. The 6-foot-3 quarterback entered Saturday’s game against Indiana with 1,657 passing yards and seven passing touchdowns while completing 61% of his passes.

    He was replaced by Michigan State backup quarterback Tommy Schuster in the third quarter.

    The Chileans left Saturday’s game against Indiana in the third quarter after taking a heavy hit from Indiana. He left the pitch under his own power and was shown on Peacocks Bach walking to the dressing room with a towel over his head.
