The city of Miami has always been a hotbed of electronic music activity and innovation, but in recent years it has taken its dancefloor flair and international recognition to new levels. Its broad sound and party appeal come from the city’s multitude of clubland microcosms. From extravagant beach parties showcasing the latest in Afro-influenced tech house to underground warehouse raves showcasing the darkest electro, the possibilities are limitless.

Miami’s homegrown underground dance music stars – many of whom spent their formative years listening to Miami bass, freestyle, Latin, Caribbean music and more – have parlayed their sonic background into something that’s taking the global electronic music scene by storm.

Ahead of their performance at the 11th edition of one of Miami’s most diverse and highly anticipated dance music gatherings, III Points FestivalWe’ve enlisted four of these key DJs/producers – Danny Daze, Coffintexts, Troy Kurtz and Jubilee – to give us a taste of what we can expect at this Magic City celebration of boundary-pushing dance music.
