Mets anthem ‘OMG’ sees 70% increase in streams after NLDS win

This is first class music.

The Mets anthem “OMG,” performed by infielder Jose Iglesias, had a big win of its own this week.

The fan-favorite pop hit saw a nearly 70% increase in streams on Wednesday when the Mets beat the Phillies in the NLDS, a Spotify representative told The Post.

The 34-year-old Iglesias, a Cuban native who also performs as Latin singer Candelito, sang the popular song on the court after their win – as his teammates cheered him on.

Queens native Jasmine Buzeta of Flushing was at Wednesday’s game, which happened to fall on her birthday, and said the song evoked “unique emotions” among Amazin’s fans.

“It’s more than a song, it celebrates the spirit of the game. The connection between the sport and the song creates a sense of shared excitement and admiration,” she said.

Since its release in June, the song became the most streamed song on Spotify in the Tri-State area on Oct. 4, a day after the Mets defeated the Brewers in the NL Wild Card Series.

On Friday, Iglesias released a remix featuring Pitbull just in time for the team’s National League Championship Series run.
