The happy couple held their wedding ceremony at the Muckross Park Hotel in Kristin’s home county of Kerry after walking down the aisle.

The couple, who have been together for seven years, were congratulated at the party by well-wishers, including several members of the Mayo team.

Model and business consultant Kristin looked stunning in a beautiful floor-length wedding dress with a square neckline and an elegant bow at the back. She wore her hair up under a long, flowing tulle veil.

The beauty later changed into a second dress, a white halter neck silk dress, for part of the wedding reception.

Aidan (34) wore a two-piece black tuxedo with a white shirt and black bow tie for the wedding, but later put on a white jacket for the reception.

Pictures that surfaced on social media show Aidan leaning over Kristin in a hallway after the wedding and planting a kiss on her while she stretches one leg in the air.

Other snaps show them enjoying the Hooley in Muckross, holding hands and enjoying the fun occasion, including dancing hand in hand at the reception to the applause and cheers of guests.

An earlier clip showed the wedding party being transported to the church by helicopter. They joked that they were “avoiding traffic” and added: “No expense spared here!”

The wedding comes a year after Aidan proposed to Kristin at Ashford Castle in his home county of Mayo.

The sportsman has a ten-year-old daughter, Caragh, from a previous relationship and explains that she and Kristin “get on brilliantly” and that the two helped with the wedding preparations.

Aidan, who works as a senior planning manager at pharmaceutical company Allergan, also helped with some tasks for the big day.

The couple met by chance on a night out in Dublin in 2017, but Kristin soon moved to London to work as a nurse.

He visited her several times in the English capital before she moved back to Ireland, where they further strengthened their relationship.

After returning to Dublin to study, Kristin moved in with Aidan at his house in Mayo and now works as a management consultant with healthcare team Grant Thornton.

The man from Breaffy previously had a high-profile relationship with Mayo football player Sarah Rowe.

He played in six All-Ireland finals for Mayo but was never able to lift Sam Maguire to the championship.

Kristin jumped to Aidan’s aid last year after Mayo lost to Tyrone in the final three years ago. “Always your biggest fan no matter what,” she explained on social media.
