For years we have was waiting for a Evil film adaptation, and not only will we now see one of the biggest Broadway musicals of all time on the big screen, but it’s also getting its own limited edition doll collection. Based on the performances in the film, directed by Jon M. Chu, you can pre-order dolls online starting today inspired by Ariana Grande as Glinda, Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Marissa Bode as Nessarose.

The new Mattel line includes three variants – fashion dolls, deluxe dolls and singing dolls, which retail for $24.99 to $39.99 (including the Deluxe Elphaba Fashion Doll and the Deluxe Glinda Fashion Doll). Fans of the original musical or the upcoming release can snag these collectibles not only at the Mattel store, but also at Target, Amazon and Walmart. Although the collection doesn’t officially launch until September 28, you can pre-order all of the dolls online now, including the singing Elphaba fashion doll ($24.99), which is only available exclusively at Target.

Goal

Last week, Grande and Erivo gave a little taste of the Evil dolls in an Instagram video. “It’s perfect,” Grande said as she looked at the doll. “I love that it made my anxious eyebrows raise,” she laughs. “What a dream come true to be realized as Elphaba and Glinda in Sweet Little doll form. Little Cynthia and little Ari are thrilled,” the Oscar-nominated actress wrote in the post.

Popular

The Glinda fashion doll is modeled after Grande’s look from the film, accurately reflecting her with the iconic pink dress and Grande’s long, blonde hairstyle. The luxury dress features Glinda in a puffy, ruffled pink ball gown with shimmering foil bubble details. The Elphaba fashion doll takes Erivo’s license (including her “baby hair,” as Erivo pointed out in the Instagram video) and features her signature witch’s hat, long, braided hair, and green skin. Vocal variations allow fans to sing along to “Popular” for Glinda and “Defying Gravity” for Elphaba.

The release of these exclusive figures follows other Evil Merchandise that fans can pre-order, such as the Lego Shiz University dorm and the Emerald City collectible sets, both of which will be released on October 1. In the meantime, while we wait for the blockbuster musical to hit theaters on November 22, you can pre-order the Evil Movie puppet collection below.
