It’s time to eliminate bad blood.

After 20 years since the last edition, WWE is bringing back the premium live event “Bad Blood” and it is the perfect title for several feuds that either begin a new chapter or culminate on Saturday night.

The evening will feature two of the biggest feuds of 2024: CM Punk and Drew McIntyre face off in a Hell in a Cell match, and Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns put their differences aside to take on the new version of The Bloodline. Also on the schedule is The Judgment Day, which will feature two matches against the Terror Twins and a rematch for the WWE Women’s Championship.

Matches out of order

  • Damian Priest vs. Finn Balor
  • Women’s World Cup match: Liv Morgan (c) vs. Rhea Ripley (Dominik Mysterio is suspended in a shark tank above the ring.)
  • WWE Women’s Championship match: Nia Jax (c) vs. Bayley
  • Hell in a Cell Match: CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre
  • Tag Team Match: Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns vs. The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu)

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill will serve as hosts of Bad Blood.

All signs point to the Moto City Machine Guns tag team coming to WWE soon. Last night on SmackDown, a “Coming Soon” vignette aired, hinting at a new addition.

The tag team consists of Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley, known for their success with TNA (Total Nonstop Action).

  • Damian Priest vs. Finn Balor: The former tag team partner, as the members of Judgment Day were at odds and Balor is partly the reason why. Balor was responsible for ending Priest’s first championship reign at 118 days. I expect Carlito and JD McDonagh to help Balor, but will it be enough? Winner: Damian Priest
  • Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley: This feud began in 2022 and could end with the championship on the line and Dominik Mysterio hanging above the ring in a shark cage. Liv has managed to get the best of Rhea when it counts, but Rhea will try to settle the score with Dominik. I expect Rhea to be aggressive and dominate early on. Winner: Rhea Ripley.
  • Nia Jax vs. Bayley: Bayley has won a championship seven times throughout her WWE career, but could add another this weekend. Nia Jax looked strong in her return to WWE, entering the bout as champion, but whether she leaves with the championship depends on what Tiffany Stratton decides to do with her Money in the Bank contract opportunity. winner: Nia Jax
  • CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre: CM Punk has prevented Drew McIntyre from achieving any real success with the WWE Championship for the past few months. McIntyre tried his best to get revenge on Punk, often making it personal by mentioning Punk’s family several times. With these two men locked in a cage and potentially a bloody fight in store, the rubber match will likely decide the true winner of the feud. winner: Drew McIntyre
  • Cody Rhodes & Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu (The Bloodline): Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns headlined the last two WrestleManias as enemies, but seem to have a common goal of stopping the newest version of the Bloodline faction. While I think the other members of the Bloodline could interfere in the match, I think Kevin Owens’ involvement will determine the outcome of the match after his recent dissatisfaction with Cody. winner: The bloodline
  • Damian Priest vs. Finn Balor: Balor faded into the background for a long time while Priest rose to the top. Balor gets his revenge and some momentum with a win, probably with some help from The Judgment Day. winner: Finn Balor.
  • Damian Priest vs. Finn Balor: Balor faded into the background for a long time while Priest rose to the top. Balor gets his revenge and some momentum with a win, probably with some help from The Judgment Day. winner: Finn Balor.
  • Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley: The condition favors Ripley, but don’t be surprised at any machinations for Morgan. Still, one of the Terror Twins should emerge victorious, and Ripley succeeds in the next chapter of this rivalry. winner: Rhea Ripley.
  • Nia Jax vs. Bayley: Bayley finally gets her rematch, but Jax is on a roll and can’t see her giving up the title to the challenger. However, we wouldn’t be surprised if we cashed out money in the bank. winner: Nia Jax.
  • CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre: The best rivalry in WWE is finally coming to an end. While you can make a case for either one to win, CM Punk is on his way to a title shot at WrestleMania and winning this feud would be the momentum he needs to get there. winner: CM Punk.
  • Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns vs. The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu): A match that can go off the rails, Reigns completes the next step toward regaining his title as “Tribal Chief.” But will there be a surprise after the game? winner: Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns.

According to Fightful Select, Bad Blood’s start time is earlier than usual for a WWE premium live event due to the UFC 307 PPV taking place later tonight.

WWE and UFC are both owned by TKO Group Holdings.

Saturday marks the fourth Bad Blood event, but the first since 2004.

The event first took place in 1997 with Badd Blood: In Your House, where the first ever Hell in a Cell match took place. The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels fought each other in the first Hell in a Cell match in St. Louis.

Bad Blood returned to Houston in 2003 and took place in Columbus, Ohio the following year before taking a 20-year hiatus. Saturday marks the 27th anniversary of the first BadBlood.

“Dirty” Dominik Mysterio will be back behind bars for the Women’s World Cup game.

Since Mysterio has been supporting Morgan since he attacked Ripley, he won’t have a chance to interfere this time.

During the match, Mysterio is lifted above the ring in a shark cage. He will only be able to look down and watch what is happening.

Veteran wrestler AJ Styles returned to SmackDown last night in Tennessee, but was apparently injured during a match against Carmelo Hayes. WWE’s Jackie Redmond gives an update on Styles.

There will be plenty of follow-ups to today’s action on the weekly episodes of RAW and SmackDown, but WWE will also have some of its bigger shows coming up. Here is the current schedule:

Date title Location
November 30th NXT Halloween Mayhem GIANT Center, Hershey, PA
February 1st Crown jewel Mohammed Abdo Arena, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
November 30th Survivor Series: War Games Rogers Arena, Vancouver
February 1st Royal Rumble Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis
