Mark Cuban doubts Musk would take over Trump’s term due to “conflicts of interest.”

“Shark Tank” investor Mark Cuban said he would have no role in a potential Kamala Harris administration and that Elon Musk also wouldn’t be in the White House if former President Trump wins.

FOX Business host Neil Cavuto spoke with Cuban on “Cavuto: Coast to Coast” on Friday about scenarios in which either former President Trump or Vice President Kamala Harris could potentially win the presidency in this election, asking: “If (Harris) If elected president, what cabinet position will Mark Cuban have?”

“No. Absolutely none. I don’t want any. I don’t want to work for the government,” Cuban said, noting that he himself owns a company that is already “destroying health care” and “changing health care.”

“That’s one of the great things about Kamala Harris. You’ve heard her talk about PBMs pharmacy benefit middlemen that have really killed them, you’ve seen her talk about transparency that will reduce drug costs for families and households by 20-20%. 30% or more. You know, I think I could have more impact on healthcare in general with CostPlusDrugs.com and just do what I do as an entrepreneur instead of working for the government.”

HARRIS SURROGATE MARK CUBAN TELLS CNBC IN QUESTIONS THAT HE IS WORKING WITH THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION

Cavuto noted that there was talk of Elon Musk taking on a role as a “cost-cutting” secretary in a potential Trump administration, but Cuban disagreed.

“Yeah, but look, even Elon has to – for me, I would follow the law and say if I wanted a Cabinet position, which I don’t want, I would have to give up everything I’m doing, and I don’t want that.” I don’t understand how Elon actually holds a cabinet post or any real position because of all the conflicts of interest he might have.

Now you know that I even worked as an advisor to Donald Trump in the past. I helped him, you know, I helped Peter Navarro find a company in the United States that made masks and helped them grow, you know, I helped Donald Trump when it came to health care and abolishing the ACA went. You know, I pray that he doesn’t become president, but I will do what I can to help my country first, second and last.
