Mark Cuban defends Kamala Harris after backlash in Fox News interview

Mark Cuban has defended Kamala Harris on social media after the vice president faced some backlash following her Fox News interview with Bret Baier.

Harris was interviewed by the Fox News host. Special report on Oct. 16 in Pennsylvania, three weeks before the 2024 election, and faced backlash online from conservative commentators and Trump supporters, with Megyn Kelly noting that Baier had taken charge while Harris appeared “incompetent.”

Cuban, an outspoken critic of Donald Trump and Harris supporter, took to X, formerly Twitter, to defend Harris’ performance, writing: “The beauty of the @BretBaier interview is that @KamalaHarris understood and answered every question. “

Cuban added that when answering Baier’s questions, the vice president gave examples of policies and real-world contexts and “defied him forcefully and never gave in.”

He concluded: “She is everything her opponent is not and never will be. Strong, wise and measured.”

In the vice president’s first interview with the news network, Harris and Baier clashed over a range of topics, including immigration, transgender rights and Donald Trump’s threats to “lock people up.”

Harris’ decision to sit down with FOX News for an interview came after her campaign was criticized by Republicans for not conducting enough candid interviews.
