LSU’s field goal attempt is a complete disaster and could cost LSU the game

The LSU Tigers are 21-17 on the road against the Texas A&M Aggies in a game that will decide first place in the SEC. The Tigers offense had no problems moving the football down the field, the problem was that the Tigers were unable to finish offenses.

The inability to score drives for touchdowns has resulted in LSU attempting four field goals and leaving nine points on the field, scoring only one field goal. Damian Ramos made his first attempt, but since then it has been a complete disaster.

The Tigers missed their second field goal attempt by a wide margin and even though it was a deep field goal, Ramos was not helped as the laces pointed to the right. The third attempt was another deep field goal attempt and again the Tigers failed as Peyton Todd couldn’t get the laces down.

With Texas A&M having all the momentum, the Tigers were able to launch a 46-yard attempt to extend the Tigers’ lead to 20-14. Instead, Slade Roy grabbed the ball early and hit Peyton Todd in the face, allowing the Aggies to take the lead.

The missed snap directly led to Texas A&M running down the field and taking a 21-17 lead, completely turning the game on its head. The Tigers will have to deal with their special teams before the start of the fourth quarter as the Tigers will have to win this game from behind.
