JACKSONVILLE, Florida. – A local photography company hosted an exclusive event on Sunday to pamper and empower dozens of women in Jacksonville.

In 2022, BEBO Captured Moments, a photography and video company, launched a series called “Woman Bold and Beautiful.” As part of this annual series, the company gives 10 women a free modeling session under the Jacksonville Pier with the goal of making them feel beautiful.

But the pampering doesn’t end there.

In addition to the photo shoots, the company also hosts an annual event that offers free makeovers by professional artists, blow-dries, dinners and glamour shoots for dozens of women – all on an exclusive guest list.

“Through our company’s partnership with Brick and Beam, we are creating the most elegant and glamorous evening where every woman can express her bold and beautiful self and leave all stress, anxiety and obligations behind for a while,” said Bethany Bryan, owner of BEBO Captured Moments.

Bryan said the idea came to him after a divorce and the need to go on a journey to “feel beautiful and strong again.”

“We know that women have families, careers and take care of the house. They are selfless and accept no excuses,” said Bryan. “Our mission is to give them the night of their lives. That is more valuable than gold.”

She talked about some comments she received from the women who participated.

“We looked at the pictures together and she said, ‘I’ve never seen myself like this before.’ And I said I need to do this more often because it was such a beautiful experience to see the look on her face when I just went through my pictures and showed them to her,” Bryan said.

This year, the annual free event’s exclusive guest list was expanded from 20 to 77 women.

Organizers said they hope to expand the list even further in 2025 so that 150 women can be pampered at the event.
