It’s obviously special, our fans are great at every game, whether they win or lose. So it gives you an extra boost. I have been successful here and hope I can continue.”

On his goal and the excellent assist from Anthony Gordon. “The cross was incredible,” he says. “I just had to jump and put my head on the ball, so a lot of credit goes to him.”

Greetings to all. The weekend’s Premier League game began at St James’ Park, where Newcastle currently lead Arsenal, thanks to a superb Alexander Isak header into the top floor after 12 minutes.

We’ll keep you updated on what’s happening in the North East and stay tuned to all five three o’clock kick-offs in the Premier League before Wolves host Crystal Palace at Molineux in today’s late kick-off.
