The Packers have not allowed a first down yet

The Packers force another punt after just three plays by the Jacksonville offense and will start from their own 20 yards. The Jaguars only had 24 yards of total offense and didn’t have a first down with 9:24 left in the second quarter.

Jacobs’ TD sets up a trouble call

Doubs fails to catch Love’s 3rd-and-6 throw, but a pass interference call to Montaric Brown on 3rd-and-6 puts the Packers at the 3-yard line and instead of a field goal, Jacobs scores an easy touchdown from three yards away, giving the Packers a 3-0 lead.

McKinney’s sixth interception quickly gives the Packers possession

On 2nd-and-12 from their own 4-yard line, Trevor Lawrence’s pass intended for Christian Kirk was intercepted by Xavier McKinney at the 34-yard line. It’s McKinney’s sixth interception this season.

Love intercepted in the red zone

A completion to running back Chris Brooks isn’t enough for a first down, but an illegal hands-to-the-face call gives the Packers a first down. But on 2nd-and-11, a throw by Love intended for Doubs was intercepted at the 6-yard line by Jarrian Jones.

The defense holds, the Packers are in the red zone

The Jaguars only manage seven yards before having to punt as neither offense looks good to begin with. After returning from the medical tent, Love starts from his own seven-yard line and throws a 31-yard strike to Romeo Doubs. After a five-yard gain from Jacobs, Love hit Doubs over the middle for another 18 yards and a first down at the Jacksonville 33. On 2nd-and-11, Love makes consecutive short throws to Dontayvion Wicks and Christian Watson for another first down at the 22. On 2nd-and-12, Love swings the ball 4 yards to Reed and the quarter ends.

The Packers fail to move the chains, the Jaguars have good field position

The Packers run the ball twice, and then a third-down throw goes out of Reed’s hands to Jayden Reed as he dives for the ball. Whelan hits from the seven-yard line and his 50-yard shoe gives the Jaguars solid field position at the 50-yard line.

The Packers hold, but have poor field position

The Packers force a 3rd-and-4 from the Jaguars 23 and Lawrence can’t find an open receiver and runs for two yards. A 73-yard punt forces the Packers to start at their own 2-yard line. For the Packers, love is back on the field.

The Packers’ first drive is stopped by a penalty and Love limps off the field slightly

The Packers’ first three plays (two passes and one run) gained 24 yards after starting at the 30. After a timeout by Jordan Love with 12:59 left, a jet sweep to Jayden Reed achieved nothing. On 3rd-and-3, Jacobs gains 16 yards, but a holding call leads to a 3rd-and-9 at the 46. Love is flushed out of the pocket and throws incomplete, and the Packers will punt. When throwing the ball while running, Love landed awkwardly on his foot and limped off the field.

Quay Walker inactive, Devonte Wyatt active

Quay Walker was unable to clear concussion protocol in time for kickoff Sunday at the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Green Bay Packers linebacker is inactive after leaving last week’s game against the Houston Texans due to a concussion. Walker, who was listed as questionable on Friday’s injury report, practiced during the week but was not cleared for game day.

Defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt is active after missing the last three games with an ankle injury. Wyatt’s return is significant for the Packers considering he may have been their best defensive lineman in the first month. Wyatt, who is also listed as questionable, had three sacks in his first four games before the injury.
