List of California Locations – NBC Bay Area

Expected fire weather conditions have led to possible power outages in parts of the Bay Area this week.

PG&E said the potential Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS) could begin Thursday and continue through Sunday. The timeline for possible PSPS coincides with the start of a Red Flag Warning issued by the National Weather Service beginning Thursday and continuing through the weekend as a system brings hot, dry winds.

Residents can expect winds of 20 to 30 mph and gusts of at least 40 mph. Those who live at higher altitudes can suffer from poor humidity.
