Liam Payne reportedly made a disturbing statement that being in a boy band had left him “riled up” just minutes before his fatal fall.

A woman identified as Rebecca claimed to be staying at the Casa Sur Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina on Wednesday and was one of the last people to see the former One Direction singer, 31, alive, according to the Daily Mail.

“‘I used to be in a boy band – that’s why I’m so fucked up,'” she claimed Payne told her during her 30-minute conversation with the singer in the hotel lobby.

Liam Payne reportedly made a disturbing statement that being in a boy band had left him “riled up” just minutes before his fatal fall.

Rebecca – who works in the IT industry in Washington DC and was staying at the hotel for a wedding – also said that Payne had exhibited bizarre behavior before his death.

She alleged that Payne was supposed to check out of the Casa Sur Hotel on Wednesday morning but remained in the lobby late into the afternoon.

“One of my friends was due to check into his suite, so the hotel staff were a bit nervous because he still hadn’t checked out at 4:30pm, but also because of his behavior,” she told the Daily Mail.

“I got to the hotel and he was waiting by the elevator and it was so clear he wanted someone to recognize him, there was something desperate about him.”

Rebecca said she and her friends recognized him but were not “bothered” by the star’s presence.

“When the elevator came, he suddenly said to us without prompting: ‘Yes, I’m Liam!’ She really dragged it out and then said, ‘All right, come with me in the elevator, I love cuddling,'” she claimed.

Rebecca said she “chose against” jumping on the elevator and opted to wait for the next one, but claimed that “some of the other girls got on with him and he started saying halfway up.” : ‘Oh, you’re American, I live in West Palm Beach.’”

Rebecca also claims she and Payne had a 30-minute conversation in the hotel lobby.

“‘I know Americans. You guys are fucking crazy! You’re fucking dangerous!'” Payne allegedly told the girls in the elevator.

“And then he grabs a girl who I think was with him and starts choking her, just lightly, but the others found it really disturbing.”

Rebecca said 10 minutes after her first interaction with Payne, she returned to the lobby where she again saw the singer hanging around and reading on his laptop.

She then claimed Payne may have seen an email “that obviously upset him,” which caused him to panic.

“Suddenly he picked up the computer and yelled, ‘Fuck this shit, buddy!’ and started banging the computer on the floor,” she claimed.

Rebecca claimed that Payne’s alleged outburst “shocked” everyone at the luxury hotel, “especially the staff.”

“His behavior was so out of place – people were just chilling.”

Rebecca then claimed she approached Payne and asked, “Are you OK?” but he “just kind of grunted.”

“Then he said, ‘I used to be in a boy band. That’s why I’m so shitty,” she told the Daily Mail.

Police were called to the scene of the accident shortly after 5pm by the hotel’s frantic receptionist and asked the operator for “urgent” help. .

“I couldn’t believe he had just come out and said something like that. There was a lot more swearing and he picked up the laptop and went back into the elevator.”

Rebecca then said a member of a former One Direction singer’s entourage approached him about Payne’s alleged outburst.

“After he left, the British guy around him, who I think was called Roger, came up to him and apologized on his behalf and said, ‘I’m sorry, he gets so high sometimes,'” she claimed.

Payne previously struggled with substance abuse and only entered rehab last year. .

Minutes later, Payne returned to the lobby and alerted hotel staff.

“The hotel staff were freaking out and watching him very nervously. I could see one of them was on the phone with security or the police,” Rebecca claimed.

“He came back in, tripped, fell flat on his face and fell to the floor. The staff came to help him and get him back into the elevator.”

“You can just see the arm of the Englishman who was with him holding the elevator door open before taking it back to the third floor.”

In photos Rebecca shared with the Daily Mail, the singer can be seen lounging on a couch in the hotel with his laptop and treating fans at the elevator.

Rebecca said she took Payne’s photos at 4:26 p.m. local time – around the same time he allegedly commented that being part of a “boy band” was “crazy.”

Police were called to the scene of the accident shortly after 5pm by the hotel’s frantic receptionist and asked the operator for “urgent” help.

“It didn’t take long for the police to arrive and at first we thought they were just going to throw him out, but then when the staff started running around like crazy we suddenly realized how serious what had happened was,” she said the Daily Mail.

“Some of my friends had seen him fall, it was terrible, and at first they thought he might have hurt himself, but then we saw the body outside in the yard, and later they brought him out on a stretcher, that was all.” terrible.”

Rebecca said she spent the night outside the hotel with her friends after the horrific experience.

However, the autopsy report said he fell.

Buenos Aires Ministry of Security communications director Pablo Policicchio told Page Six that investigators are still determining whether Payne’s fall was accidental or intentional.

Responding officers discovered Payne’s hotel room was in disarray.

The “Strip That Down” singer previously struggled with substance abuse and entered rehab just last year.
