Lamar Jackson dresses like a Notre Dame leprechaun to make good on a bet

Lamar Jackson is a man of his word – just ask his teammates.

The Baltimore Ravens’ starting quarterback played his college ball with the Louisville Cardinals, where he won the Heisman Trophy in 2016. While NFL players are primarily dedicated to their professional teams, many of them still have a passionate connection to their alma causes – and Jackson is no exception.

Last week he watched his Cardinals take on the Notre Dame fights against Irishjust to watch them lose 31-24. But that wasn’t the end of Jackson’s disappointment in his team’s loss.

Apparently he and Malik Cunningham made a deal with some of their teammates who were watching Louisville-Notre Dame and unfortunately they lost. Your punishment? Dressed up like goblins when they came to team meetings today.

I’m sure it was equal parts frustrating and embarrassing, but at least they mastered the outfits like the champs. After all, how lame would it have been if they decided to back out of the deal?

Jackson and Cunningham endured another week of disappointment as the Cardinals lost 37-34 to the SMU Mustangs today. But it doesn’t look like that means they have to wear any horse costumes. Maybe these guys will take their frustrations out on the Cincinnati Bengals Sunday.
