Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky are planning their wedding!

Since the couple’s engagement was officially announced last week, ET has learned that the couple has begun planning their wedding and is preparing to say “I do.”

A source told ET: “Gaga and Michael are happier than ever. Michael always knew Gaga was the one. They had an engagement party with their loved ones at their Malibu home and everyone is so happy for them.”

“They are already thinking about wedding plans and are talking about a possible wedding in Europe,” the source continues. “They would rather get married sooner rather than later and both want to start a family.”

On July 28, the 38-year-old singer appeared in a TikTok video introducing her 46-year-old entrepreneur boyfriend as her “fiancé” while chatting with French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal about her performance at the opening ceremony at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

Shortly after fans noticed Gaga’s “fiancé” reference, a source revealed to ET that the two have actually been “engaged since the spring,” which makes sense considering the “Poker Face” singer was first spotted wearing a huge diamond ring. The Finger when I was in West Hollywood in April.

“They are both extremely happy and excited about this moment in their relationship,” the source added.

Gaga made their romance Instagram official in February 2020. Polansky and his bride-to-be were previously spotted kissing as they rang in 2020 at midnight on New Year’s Eve. Since then, the pair have mostly kept their relationship out of the spotlight. But Gaga isn’t hiding her man completely, as she has referred to him as “the man I love” and “the love of my life” in interviews over the years.

The couple seems to be a perfect match. A source told ET in 2022, “Gaga and Michael are serious and very much in love.”

In 2021, another source told ET, “Everyone really loves Michael and Lady Gaga is very happy with him. He is different from the other guys she has dated in the past because he is very sweet and loving on the outside and has an old-school gentlemanly vibe.”

“She loves masculine men who take the lead and Michael is definitely one,” the source continued at the time. “She feels like a princess in their relationship. She has kept their relationship rather private and wants to protect it.”

As for the desire to start a family together, joker The star has described marriage and having children as something she wants out of life. “I have to say, I’m really looking forward to having children,” she said InStyle in 2020. “I’m looking forward to becoming a mother. Isn’t it incredible what we can do? We can carry a human being inside us and let it grow. Then it comes out and it’s our job to keep it alive.”

The following year, a source told ET, “She’s told her friends she wants to get a few projects done and then focus on settling down. Gaga wants to have children one day and sees a future with Michael.”
