Annual congregation & DIa de Los Muertos festival
Saturday November 2nd
Our Lady of Guadalupe

12pm to 9pm
At 10 a.m. the gates will open for people to set up altars for their loved ones.
The event includes 28 food and drink stalls, a loteria, photo mug tables, a DJ and a Folklorico concert with 5 dance companies.

César E. Chávez National Monument DIa de Los Muertos
Saturday November 2nd
29700 Woodford-Tehachapi Rd, Keene, CA 93531
Free event
1:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m
The event includes music by Mariachi Tenampa, folkloric dances by Arvin High School, a special tour of the altars in the visitor center and a special screening of the Disney-Pixar film Coco.

The event will include music, Ameyaltzin Yolihuani dancers, folklore, art exhibition, resource fair, food, Altares and Catrinas competition and other activities including a youth art exhibition as well as a special guest, La Catrina Picazo.

Starts at 2 p.m
There will be live music and artists, food from Antojitos Baez, Flame Broiler, JP Catering, La Limonada and more. There will also be face painting and family-friendly activities.

There will be an altar contest, food and live music.

The Kern County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s 14th Annual DIa de Los Muertos
Sunday, November 3rd
Kern County Fairgrounds
Tickets purchased online in advance are $8 each, or $30 for 5 tickets if purchased as a family package
Tickets are $12 per person at the gate. Children up to 5 years have free entry.
1 p.m. to 7 p.m
There will be displays of special altars created by local families, live music, El Catrin and La Catrina costume contests, food and vendors.
